Easy Cajun Shrimp Lettuce Wrap (High-Protein & Gluten-Free)

These high-protein Cajun shrimp lettuce wraps are a quick and gluten-free dinner with healthy fresh ingredients and packed with flavor.  Shrimp is very protein dense and naturally gluten free.  Sixteen oz of cooked shrimp gets you about 100-115 grams of protein.  Reaching your daily protein goals just got easier because they are great for lunch, dinner or meal prep.

Ingredients

3-4 Romaine lettuce leaves

16 oz medium or large shrimp

1 medium avocado

1 1/2 tbsp garlic powder

1 1/2 tbsp paprika

1 1/2 tbsp lemon pepper

1tsp Zatarain’s concentrated shrimp and crab boil

1/4 white onion

1 juiced lime

3 tbsp butter

Salt & Pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat pan to medium.
  2. Combine shrimp in a bowl, drizzle olive oil, and add paprika, garlic powder, salt, lemon pepper, and Zatarain’s concentrated shrimp and crab boil.
  3. Add 3 tbsps of butter to pan.  Once melted add seasoned shrimp.  Shrimp is cooked once it is not translucent.  Or cook to your liking.  This will only take a few minutes.
  4. Wash your lettuce.
  5. Now time for guacamole!  In a bowl add the avocado, add diced onion, add 1 juiced lime, salt and pepper. Mix and ready!
  6. Now assemble by adding a layer of guacamole on the romaine leaves then top with shrimp.

Notes

Enjoy this high protein and gluten-free dish!  Great for lunch, dinner or meal prep.  If you want to meal prep it, pack your lettuce separately and assemble right before eating.Easy Cajun Shrimp Lettuce Wrap (High-Protein & Gluten-Free)

Zatarain’s Concentrated Shrimp and Crab Boil is not certified and labeled Gluten Free but it’s ingredients are normally gluten free.  If you are Celiac please be cautious.
