These healthy Cajun shrimp lettuce wraps are light yet satisfying. Shrimp are very protein dense and naturally gluten free. Sixteen oz of cooked shrimp gets you about 100-115 grams of protein. They are great for lunch, dinner or meal prep. They are great to help you reach your daily protein goals.
3-4 Romaine lettuce leaves
16 oz medium or large shrimp
1 medium avocado
1 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
1 1/2 tbsp paprika
1 1/2 tbsp lemon pepper
1tsp Zatarain’s concentrated shrimp and crab boil
1/4 white onion
1 juiced lime
3 tbsp butter
Salt & Pepper
- Heat pan to medium.
- Combine shrimp in a bowl, drizzle olive oil, and add paprika, garlic powder, salt, lemon pepper, and Zatarain’s concentrated shrimp and crab boil.
- Add 3 tbsps of butter to pan. Once melted add seasoned shrimp. Shrimp is cooked once it is not translucent. Or cook to your liking. This will only take a few minutes.
- Wash your lettuce.
- Now time for guacamole! In a bowl add the avocado, add diced onion, add 1 juiced lime, salt and pepper. Mix and ready!
- Now assemble by adding a layer of guacamole on the romaine leaves then top with shrimp.
Enjoy this high protein and flavorful dish! Great for lunch, dinner or meal prep. If you want to meal prep it, pack your lettuce separately and assemble right before eating.
